Nancy, for whom weaving is a spiritual meditation and a way of living, has a BA degree in painting and drawing from the Connecticut College. She has 5 years of study in the Fibers Certificate Department at the Oregon College of Arts and Crafts and has also studied in France.

She is a well known lecturer and tutor and produces commissioned works in Pictorial Tapestry for corporate, residential, and liturgical spaces. Ms. Klos has developed a number of workshops for the Portland Art Museum Department relating to special exhibits.
