Richard Box is a highly respected, influential artist, embroiderer, teacher, and author. Trained at the Hastings School of Art and Goldsmith's College of Art, London, his work has been widely exhibited and published.

Over the past twelve years, his Drawing for the Terrified course has proved extremely popular, and is one of a number of courses he teaches throughout England. He is the author of five best-selling books.
