This course offers the opportunity for the beginner or more experienced student to try out a variety of art media on paper using a source from the garden as an inspirational design theme. The basics of design are approached in an exciting and contemporary manner with the use of printmaking, collage, stencils and foil. Try this course as a taster for 7922-01 City & Guilds Level 3 Unit Credit Certificate in Design. Anybody can learn how to design.

Please note, this is not a drawing class, nor do you need to know how to draw. You will create original designs.

You will leave this class having acquired new methods of observation, color studies, a collection of printed and painted papers, using a variety of media, and lots of ideas and notes.
