Marianne V. Burr I chose garden flowers as my design theme because I wanted to study vibrant color and apply it to my own abstractions of flower forms. City & Guilds study has provided me with the opportunity to experiment with design, materials, and techniques in a constantly stimulating environment. Now that I’m in the habit of creating art, I wish only to continue doing so.
